Curious if anyone here in Utah has actually seen lower rates for high-mileage vehicles? I’ve heard mixed things. Some say that since older cars aren’t worth as much, insurers cut you a break. Others argue that more time on the road means more risk, so you pay more.
I’ve been clocking 20k+ miles a year driving across the Wasatch Front and into southern Utah. Tried to compare car insurance quotes lately, but they’re all over the place depending on provider.
Anyone here with older or high-mileage vehicles getting decent rates? Or is it just better to stick with minimum coverage and call it a day? Would love to hear how it’s worked out for others before switching policies again.
